Overview
The City’s Street Department is responsible for maintenance of all streets inside the city limits of Osage City. This includes:
- Patching of potholes
- Grading
- Drainage ditches
- Storm drains
- Sealing and repaving of streets
The Street Department will also replace, repair, or clean culverts under your driveway.
Twice a week, weather permitting, the street department sweeps the business district, side streets and curbs as needed. Any complaints or requests regarding street problems may be directed to City Hall at 785-528-3714.
The Sanitation Department is in the same building. The City owns and operates its own refuse pick-up equipment. The town is divided into four separate routes for residential refuse pick-up. Dumpsters for all residents and businesses are picked up one to three times a week.
Refuse pickup rates are available online.
